Substy AI Reviews and Whether Substy Is Legit and Safe for OnlyFans Agencies
Substy has two Trustpilot reviews, so we read what it commits to in writing instead: a Dubai free zone company under French law, payment from a prepaid credit wallet, a 14 day refund window that excludes credits, and a clause that puts anything its AI does on your creator account on you.

The short answer
Substy is a real, working OnlyFans, Fanvue and MYM agency CRM with an AI that sells PPV, and it publishes its prices and its terms. What it does not have is an independent review base. Checked on 18 September 2026, its Trustpilot profile is unclaimed and holds two reviews, both one star, one from May 2025 and one from May 2026. Two reviews prove nothing either way.
So the useful check is the one that binds the vendor: the contract. Substy's terms name a Dubai free zone company as the operator, apply French law with Bordeaux courts, describe payment through a prepaid credit wallet, limit refunds to a 14 day window that excludes credits, and put the risk of anything its automation does on your creator's account on you. None of that makes Substy unsafe. All of it is worth knowing before you connect a roster and top up a balance.
Where the Substy reviews on Google come from
Search for Substy reviews and the first page looks like a reputation. Open each result and very little of it comes from a paying customer. Here is what each source actually is, read on 18 September 2026.
| Source | What it is | From customers? | How much weight to give it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | Unclaimed profile, TrustScore 2.9, two reviews, both one star (May 2025 and May 2026) | Yes, but only two | Read the complaints for patterns. Do not score the product on two posts |
| ofm-tools.com | An editorial review with a pricing and commission breakdown | No, one reviewer | Useful for the feature rundown. Check its numbers against the pricing page |
| ScamAdviser and similar | Automated checks of domain age, hosting and traffic signals | No | Tells you the website is real, not whether the AI sells |
| Rival vendor comparison pages | Pages by competing CRMs and chatbots comparing themselves with Substy | No, written by a competitor | Marketing. Read the claims, then verify them at source |
One example of why the check matters: the ofm-tools.com review, verified by that site in July 2026, says annual billing takes 25 percent off Substy's monthly fees. On 18 September 2026 the pricing script on substy.ai sets Pro at 48 dollars and Elite at 69 dollars a month billed annually, against 69 and 99 monthly, which is closer to 30 percent. Either the discount changed or the figure was rounded, and it is exactly the kind of number that gets copied from site to site. Our Substy pricing breakdown works through every plan at every level of AI sales from the source figures.
Substy is not unusual in having almost no reviews. Across the tools agencies shortlist, CreatorHero and OnlyMonster had zero reviews when we checked, Supercreator and FansMetric had no Trustpilot profile at all, and Infloww had four. The Infloww reviews and terms audit runs the same check on the market leader. Adult industry software rarely collects public reviews, so the absence is not a warning on its own. It does mean the checking is your job.
Is Substy legit?
Yes. Substy is a working product with a published price list, a terms of service last updated May 19, 2025, a privacy policy, a support address, an integrated OnlyFans and MYM browser on its top plan, and a REST API and MCP access for agencies that want to connect their own AI assistants. Its homepage says 700 plus agencies work with it and that its AI has generated 13.6 million dollars in sales. Its AI chat page says 200 plus agencies. Those are the vendor's own numbers and they disagree with each other, so treat both as marketing rather than evidence.
The operator is named only in the legal pages: SUBHOME TECH SOLUTIONS FZCO, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, United Arab Emirates. FZCO is a free zone company form. The terms, though, are governed by French law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bordeaux, France, after an attempt at amicable resolution, and they allow for arbitration if that fails. The homepage footer names no company, and the terms carry small signs of a template, including a line in the availability section that starts a list about sharing data and never finishes it. None of that is unusual for a young vendor. It does mean a US agency with a billing dispute would be dealing with a Dubai company under French law.
Is Substy safe for your creator accounts?
Substy lists multi-account and passwordless login on every plan, along with team roles, so chatters can work a creator account without being handed the password. That is the right control and it is standard in this category. It answers the staff risk. It does not remove the vendor risk: OnlyFans publishes no public API, so any tool that sends messages on a creator's account does it through a session it holds, and that session can do what the account can do. That is true of every CRM here, and it is not a mark against Substy in particular.
What is specific to Substy is how the terms allocate that risk. Section 13 says Substy may integrate automated tools that interact with accounts on third party private platforms, that it is not responsible for errors, malfunctions or unintended actions those tools cause on your accounts, and that you use those integrations at your own risk and are responsible for verifying and supervising every automated action. Section 10 adds that Substy is not liable for data loss from using the service or for temporary interruptions.
Read together, that means an AI that sends the wrong PPV, the wrong price, or a message that breaks a creator's boundaries is your problem, contractually. Section 14 does set out content rules the AI must follow, including no real life meetings, no underage or incest themes and no non-consensual roleplay, which is reassuring. But the practical defence is supervision: start the AI in its slower mode on one creator, read what it sends for a week, and only then widen it. Substy's own status page at status.substy.ai returned a 503 error with "no available server" when we checked on 18 September 2026, so there is also no public place to confirm an outage. The status page comparison covers which vendors do publish one.
Can I get a refund from Substy?
Only within a narrow window. The terms give a 14 day withdrawal period on subscriptions, and that period excludes credits. After it, no refunds are granted, and any subscription refund the company chooses to make may be paid in Substy credits instead of money. Cancellation is allowed at any time, with no prorated refund, and deleting the account loses access to your data and any remaining credits. The terms also allow Substy to close accounts after long inactivity, giving more than 12 months without a login as the example.
That clause matters more here than at most vendors because of how Substy is paid. The terms say subscriptions are paid from credits deposited in your Substy account and list cryptocurrency as the way to buy credits, while the privacy policy says payment details are processed by Stripe. The affiliate page explains that as an agency's AI sells more, it consumes credits and tops up its balance. So the commission on AI sales comes out of a prepaid balance. Keep that balance close to what the next few weeks will use, and do not pre-load a large amount during the free week.
Crypto top-ups also create a bookkeeping gap: there is often no card statement line to reconcile against. An expense tool that reads receipts and categorizes every software charge keeps each top-up tied to a receipt and a creator, which is what your accountant will ask for at tax time.
How Substy compares on the terms that matter
| Vendor | Who you contract with | Refund term in writing | How you pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Substy | SUBHOME TECH SOLUTIONS FZCO, Dubai, under French law, Bordeaux courts | 14 day withdrawal on subscriptions, credits excluded. Later refunds at its discretion, possibly as credits | Prepaid credits. $0, $69 or $99 per creator plus 15, 10 or 8.5 percent of AI sales |
| Infloww | Infinni Innovations S.A., Spain, arbitration in Tenerife | No general refund clause. Trial deposits become invoice credit for 6 months | Card, billed in arrears. $40 to $500 per creator profile by earnings |
| CreatorHero | CreatorHero LLC, Wyoming, under New York law | Non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise | Card. $39.99 per creator plus a success fee up to $260 |
| FansAgent | Us, on a standard monthly subscription | Cancel any time, no lock in | Flat $49, $149 or $399 a month, no commission |
Is Substy worth it?
Substy is worth it for an agency that runs creators on OnlyFans, Fanvue and MYM together, wants an AI that closes PPV on its own, and has pages where that AI will sell modestly. Its Starter plan costs nothing until the AI sells, so a quiet page is free, and Elite's hybrid mode lets AI and human chatters share one inbox. Substy does not cover Fansly, which the platform support matrix sets out next to the other vendors.
It gets expensive on strong pages. Every plan takes a percentage of AI sales, 15, 10 or 8.5 percent, so a creator whose AI closes 5,000 dollars a month costs 524 dollars at best, and 1,799 dollars at 20,000. That is a fee that rises exactly when the product works. If you would rather pay one number for the whole roster, FansAgent drafts every fan reply in the creator's own voice, times PPV per fan, and waits for your approval where you want it, for a flat 49 to 399 dollars a month with Studio covering up to 10 pages. The Substy alternative comparison puts the two side by side, including where Substy's CRM depth is the better fit.
What to do before you connect a roster
- Ask what net sales means. The commission is on net sales and the pricing page does not define net. Get in writing whether it is before or after the platform's 20 percent.
- Ask how a hybrid sale is attributed. If a human chatter and the AI both worked a fan, find out who gets credit for the unlock, because only one of them costs a percentage.
- Start on one creator in slow mode. Section 13 makes supervising the AI your job. Read a week of its messages before you widen it.
- Keep the credit balance small. Credits are outside the 14 day withdrawal and are lost if you delete the account.
- Export your data before you leave. Deleting the account ends access to it, and the privacy policy says some data may be kept for records anyway.
